I'm a journalist and researcher specialising in social policy. You'll mainly find me writing about drugs, policing and prisons, though I do cover travel, veganism and fitness from time to time.

While working in academia, I carried out research for public sector organisations including the Greater London
Authority, Plymouth City Council, Sky News, Devon & Cornwall Police, Metropolitan Police, HM Prison Service, Public Health England, Local Government Association and others.

I have a PhD in Political Science. This means I'm highly knowledgeable in British, European and American election campaigns, as well as political communication and activism.
